Get the Money Smarts 2: Develop Positive Financial Skills and Mindsets

Women interested in starting their own small business are invited to enrol in this face-to-face course.

Introduction

This course is the second in the series of Get the Money Smarts: Develop Positive Financial Skills and Mindsets courses conducted as part of the ACE it @ EASTWOOD suite of courses.

The theme of this FREE course is ‘Starting a Small Business’.

Course overview

Join a team of professionals from a diverse range of financial and business backgrounds as each week they share their knowledge and skills in how to start and effectively manage a small business. Learn about: budgets and cash flow statements; business planning and support; legalities; managing risk; insurance; tax and record keeping; marketing and sales; and technology and e-commerce.

All resources required for learning activities and costs associated with ‘Mystery Excursions’ are included in program fees.

As part of the program you will also help to plan an innovative graduation event to share your new small business ideas and goals with family and friends.

DATES: April 12 – June 7, 2023
(10 sessions over eight weeks, including seven face-to-face sessions, a graduation event and two ‘Mystery Excursions’)

TIMES: Wednesdays from 9.30am – 2.30pm
